Cancer Awareness – What are the most common problems that men face?

2023 Prostate Cancer:

The lifetime risk for prostate cancer in men in South Africa is 1 in 15. It is the most common male cancer globally and locally. Risk factors include age, ethnicity, family history, and being obese or overweight. Prostate Cancer commonly occurs in men over 60 years of age.

Men should be going to routine screenings for prostate cancer annually, by having a PSA test. PSA is a protein produced by cancerous and non-cancerous prostate tissue. High PSA levels may indicate inflammation of the prostate or even cancer. A routine test could save your life.
